Are there different levels to slime?
Beginner-Not Sticky/TackyIntermediate- A little Sticky/Tacky
Advanced- Can be super Sticky/Tacky
My slime is sticky!
You can fix this by adding a little slime activator. (1 teaspoon borax and 1 cup warm water)
If your slime is hot because the weather is hot you can stick it in the refrigerator for a little while so that it will cool.
Handmade slimes are sometimes a little sticky and may melt a little during transit this happens naturally to slime.
My slime is frozen!
This can happen when the weather is cold outside just place the slime in a warm place in your house and it will warm up. DO NOT PUT SLIME IN THE MICROWAVE!
Help I got slime on my clothes, carpet, furniture etc.
- If the slime spill is still fresh, apply ice or ice packs for 10-15 minutes to freeze the slime and then scrape it out of the carpet and vacuum it up.
- Mix a 2:1 vinegar and water solution. Sprinkle baking soda over the slime spot and then spray it with the vinegar and water. After 10 minutes, clean the stain with a scrub brush and wipe up the extra baking soda and slime particles with a paper towel. Dab warm water on the stain and allow it to dry before vacuuming.
- Clothing you can use the vinegar and water solution to dissolve the slime wash with hot water and soap.
Always check carpet, furniture or clothing in an inconspicuous place to make sure the cleaning solution is safe for those fibers.
